About this design

A thorny vine winds through a cross-shaped composition of black spirals, leaves and flourishes on a plain white ground. Three square frames with concentric circles at their centers act as the finder squares, while the dense knot of curling vines and leaf shapes carries the modules. Heavy solid black fills sit against thin hairline rings and sweeping arcs, so the dark and light areas stay clearly separated. Swirling scrolls at the top, bottom and sides give the piece its tattoo flash look.
