About this design

A bare skull sits at the center of a tangle of black roses, white blossoms, leaves and thorny vines, drawn in crisp vector lines with grey hatch shading. Three square picture frames, each holding a single rose, take the place of the finder squares. The skull's dark eye sockets, nose and teeth, along with the scattered petals and leaves, carry the modules. Strong black against the pale ground keeps the pattern clear, and the extra roses at the lower edges add a flash-sheet feel.
