About this design

A spiked black star sits inside thin concentric circles, its points drawn in grey hatched ink on a white background. Three square frames, each holding a small compass-like emblem with a dark center, take the place of the finder squares. The data modules are rendered as chunky rune-like glyphs, knotwork and jagged shards packed into the center of the star. Heavy black strokes against bare white keep the pattern crisp, while the fine circle lines and grey shading stay in the margins and add depth without crowding the code.
