About this design

A square Portuguese-style tile with a gold-beige frame of blossoms and buds around a pale grey panel of navy leaves and one large golden flower. Three framed squares with blue patterned borders and dark centers act as the finder squares, set into the panel like inlaid tiles. Navy leaf shapes, small diamonds and tiny cream blossoms carry the modules against the light grey ground. Fine linework on each leaf and strong dark-on-light contrast keep the pattern clear across the whole tile.
