About this design

A pirate skull in a tattered bandana, drawn in bold black ink on white, with a small skull and crossbones on the cloth and swooping brush strokes behind the head. Square frames set into the bandana band and the lower cheek hide the finder squares. The blotchy black patches across the forehead, eye sockets and cheekbones carry the modules. Solid black against clean white keeps the pattern crisp, and the heavy ink splatters stay outside the skull's face.
