About this design

A glossy blue ceramic jug with a looped handle, painted with small yellow and rust songbirds, holds a bunch of pink and white flowers against green leaves. The finder squares are disguised as dark navy square motifs and rounded brown patches on the glaze, while the navy blotches and bird shapes carry the modules across the belly of the jug. Dark paint against the bright blue glaze keeps the pattern distinct, and the soft garden background stays out of focus. The birds' orange and yellow plumage adds the main accent color.
