About this design

A mossy rock mass wrapped in vines carries stacked white boxes with round portholes, while small figures crouch in the shadows at its base. The porthole boxes and the dark ink blotches around them hide the finder squares and carry the modules. Heavy black shapes against cream, tan and olive keep the pattern clearly separated, and the spread of holes and cracks gives the grid an even texture. A small red mark sits at the upper left edge of the frame.
