A cluster of lotus flowers, buds and veined leaves rises from a dark pond dotted with lily pads, drawn in bold black ink on white. The three finder squares are disguised as framed panels holding leaf and cracked petal line work, while the flower heads, stems and buds carry the dark and light modules. Solid black silhouettes against the bare white ground keep the pattern crisp, and fine linework adds texture inside the petals. One small yellow stamen in the central bloom is the only color accent.
