About this design

A framed cubist painting of fragmented faces, with eyes, lips and noses scattered across interlocking planes of teal, rust red, ochre and pale blue. The three square-framed eye panels, set in cream and dark teal borders, disguise the finder squares. Small angular shards and rounded lip shapes carry the modules across the canvas. Strong contrast between the dark teal and black shapes and the pale blue and cream ground keeps the pattern readable through the busy composition. A warm wooden frame surrounds the whole piece.
