Glazed ceramic tiles in cobalt blue, cream and terracotta brown, with swirling scrolls, leaf shapes and a fine mosaic of tiny cream tesserae. Three square tile medallions with nested blue and cream borders and carved ornament hide the finder squares. Dark blue and brown fragments scattered across the pale mosaic carry the modules, while curling blue ribbons wind through the center. Strong contrast between the deep blue shapes and the light ground keeps the pattern clear, and the wavy tile borders frame the whole piece.
