About this design

A Zen garden built from small ceramic tiles, with raked cream sand in sweeping curves, smooth slate and tan stones, and carefully placed bonsai trees with deep green canopies. The three framed square panels holding bonsai and shrubs disguise the finder squares, while the swirling sand rows and the pebble-sized tiles carry the light and dark modules. Dark charcoal and brown tiles against pale cream keep the pattern readable across the whole surface. The tile edges give the sand lines a carved, tactile rhythm.
