About this design

A young crusader with short brown hair stands in a white tunic marked with red crosses, chainmail over his shoulders and an ornate silver mace in his gloved hand. Behind him hangs a muted tan canvas tent under a pale blue sky. The finder squares are hidden in the square red-cross shields and the tangle of silver chain across his chest, which also carry many of the modules. Strong contrast between red, white and dark chain links keeps the pattern readable, while the soft background leaves the figure crisp.
