About this design

Stacks of leather-bound books, framed engravings and torn pages of old print fill a grid of collaged panels in sepia, oxblood and deep teal. Dark framed pictures and square book blocks serve as the finder squares, while ragged book spines and diamond-shaped paper scraps carry the modules. Strong contrast between the dark spines and the pale text-covered paper keeps the pattern readable across the whole sheet. A ring of torn brown fragments in the lower middle gives the layout its busiest, most textured patch.
