A bearded man and a woman, both in navy top hats and round glasses, face each other over a tangle of black and cream gears. The cluster of cogs between their gloved hands and the two boxy gauge machines at the bottom hide the finder squares and carry most of the modules. Dark gear teeth against pale cream discs give the pattern strong contrast, while the soft grey bokeh background and floating brass cogs stay quiet around it. Cream coat, lace collar and black gloves finish the Victorian look.
