Spotted Butterfly on Branch Painterly QR Code Art

About this design

A large butterfly with cream, rust brown and cobalt wings rests on a bark branch hung with yellow-green leaves, a pale sun glowing behind it. The wing patches with their dark eyespots and the clusters of leaves stand in for the finder squares, while the scattered black spots, wing veins and small leaves carry the modules. Dark wing markings sit against light cream panels and a soft grey-blue sky, which keeps the pattern readable. Paint drips run down from the lower branch, adding texture to an otherwise misty background.
