Red Black Swirl Gouache Abstract QR Code Art

About this design

Swirling red, black, cream and blue shapes drift across a flat painted surface, built from concentric rings, droplets and fine flowing contour lines. Three square picture frames with dark borders and red centers hide the finder squares, each holding a black circle that echoes the rest of the composition. The modules are carried by the dots, rings and ribbons of paint, with dark shapes set against the pale ground for strong contrast. Thin linework fills the larger forms and gives the piece a layered, hand-painted texture.
