About this design

A black and white peacock stands in profile, its head crowned with a small crest and its tail fanned into long feathers with teal eye spots. Two square framed ornaments sit among the plumage and the shoulder of the neck holds a blocky pattern, which together hide the finder squares. The dense scale-like feathers and leaf shapes carry the dark and light modules. Heavy black ink against the plain off-white ground keeps the contrast sharp, while thin swirling arcs add a light touch behind the bird.
