About this design

A heap of sliced oranges and citrus halves with dark green leaves, laid over pale blue splashes and a golden orange sun shape. The finder squares are hidden inside the round fruit cross-sections and leaf clusters, while the modules run through the red-orange pulp segments and white pith lines. Deep orange and cream against the light blue ground give the pattern strong contrast. Fine leaf veins and loose brush streaks add detail without cutting into the dark and light areas.
