About this design

An elderly man with a white beard and dark cap leans on a wooden staff under a leafy tree, standing in a courtyard of scattered stones and fallen leaves. The finder squares are disguised as framed square panels on the whitewashed wall, while the dark blue blotches splashed across that wall carry the modules. Strong contrast between the inky blotches and the pale plaster keeps the pattern legible, and the busy brushwork of the foliage and ground stays away from the code area. Warm oranges and greens play against deep blues throughout.
