A Navajo style stitched textile in orange, red, teal, mustard and cream yarn on a black ground, with medallions and stepped borders framing the edges. Three nested square motifs with concentric rings of red, teal and brown stitching disguise the finder squares. The data modules are carried by blocky patches of pale blue, red and cream thread that read as part of the weave. Strong light against dark contrast and the visible stitch texture keep the pattern legible across the whole piece.
