About this design

A pale-haired mermaid warrior floats at the center of swirling black and teal waves, her tail curling into the current. Three framed floral squares stand in for the finder squares, while her ornate black costume of leaf and paisley shapes carries the dark and light modules. Bold black strokes against a clean white background give the pattern strong contrast, and scattered droplets and bubbles add fine texture around the figure. Soft blue washes in the waves and hair contrast with the heavy ink.
