About this design

A layered paper collage of Mayan temples, stepped pyramids and a snarling jaguar, cut from black, cream, gold and teal stock. Three nested square frames filled with carved glyph patterns disguise the finder squares, while the modules run through the black and cream glyph blocks and temple silhouettes between them. Strong dark against cream contrast and evenly spread fine line detail keep the pattern legible as a mosaic of scraps. Small torn newsprint text and a teal sky diamond add a Dada touch.
