About this design

A knight in horned armor rides a winged dragon, lance raised high, drawn in solid black ink on a white ground. The three finder squares sit as hollow white-edged blocks behind the wings and beneath the dragon's body, while the dragon's torso and the knight's armor carry the dark and light modules as swirls and scrollwork. Heavy black fills against clean white keep the pattern crisp, and the fine ornamental detail is concentrated in the body. A tiny red eye on the dragon is the only warm accent.
