About this design

A Japanese street corner where a bank of vending machines glows against a darkened wooden wall, shelves packed with brightly wrapped snacks and drinks. Screens, coin slots and dispensing trays form the dense dark and light modules, while the machine frames and the lantern-lit side kiosk hide the finder squares. Strong contrast between the pale cabinet panels and the shadowed openings keeps the pattern readable across the whole image. Warm Portra-style orange and cream tones run through the packaging and shoji panels.
