A rain-soaked bamboo garden in Japan, with green stalks on the left, a winding path of wet stepping stones and feathery purple blossoms arching overhead. Two stone lanterns, one capped with thick moss, sit among boulders and hide the finder squares. The modules are carried by the bamboo stalks, mossy rocks and stone slabs, whose dark gaps and bright green and grey surfaces keep the pattern clear. Soft diffuse light and shallow focus leave the foreground sharp and the background dreamy.
