About this design

A miniature rune school library sits on a cobblestone slab against black, with a wooden staircase arching over a sunken maze of bookshelves. Glowing rune signposts and the framed garden pits around the floor take the place of the finder squares, while the shelves, books and stair treads carry the dark and light modules. Pale stone walls against deep shadow give the pattern strong contrast, and the fine detail is spread evenly across the whole floor. A colonnade supports a floating scroll platform on the upper right.
