About this design

Thick black brush strokes and ochre-gold paint splashes wrap around a central block of blue-grey and brown pattern, with drips running down the bottom edge. The finder squares are disguised as gold and brown outlined boxes inside the paint cloud, while the modules are carried by dark blotches and pale gold gaps in the center. Heavy black swashes frame the pattern and push the eye inward. The strong contrast of dark marks against the plain white background keeps the module pattern legible despite the loose, blurred edges.
