A stone fortress with two square towers and red tile roofs rises above a calm river, with an arched bridge, pale sun and hazy blue hills behind. The towers and the pale bridge arches carry the dark and light modules, while the rippled reflections in the water hold the rest of the pattern. Finder squares are hidden in the stone masses and reflected shapes. Soft washes of blue, ochre and yellow green keep strong tonal contrast between dark masonry and the bright water and sky.
