About this design

A slim dagger rises through the center of two symmetrical laurel branches, drawn in solid black ink on a plain white ground. Three square leaf motifs with framed maple-like blossoms disguise the finder squares, while tangled roses, vines and small leaves carry the dark and light modules in the middle. The sharp black on white contrast and the open space around the outer laurel keep the pattern readable. Fine vein lines etched into each leaf add a delicate, engraved texture.
