About this design

A wall assembly of newspaper clippings, torn photo scraps and black cut-paper shapes, with a few loose pages scattered along the bottom edge. Three black picture frames with cream mats hide the finder squares, each holding a dark photo or a plain black square. The data modules are angular black pieces, dotted fabric patches and small diamonds pressed against pale newsprint. Strong black against cream and pale blue paper keeps the pattern clear, even amid the chaotic layering of text and images.
