About this design

Rolled paper strips in navy, rust red, teal, purple and ochre fill a swirling frame of cream ribbons on a pale gray ground. Large concentric coils, one in each of three spots, take the place of the finder squares, and the cream scrolls curl around them. Smaller dark spirals and loops scattered through the middle carry the modules, set against light paper so the dark and pale shapes stay clearly separated. Fine edges and soft shadows give the layered paper real depth.
