About this design

A Himeji style castle built from LEGO bricks, with tiered gray tile roofs, tan walls and dark red lattice windows, set among pine trees and a red gate. The dark red window panels and the stacked white and tan blocks hide the finder squares and carry the modules as a patchwork of light and dark pieces. Strong contrast between dark roofs, pale walls and the green foliage keeps the pattern legible across the whole structure. Rounded bonsai-like trees frame both sides of the scene.
