About this design

A Greek goddess Athena in a crested helmet, with long dark hair, stands in profile between two owls and a round shield full of brass gears. Two of the finder squares are disguised as square plum frames with sun-like medallions beside the owls, and a third is hidden in the goddess and shield cluster. The modules are carried by feathers, hair strands, gear teeth and paint splatters. Dark linework against the white background and the soft teal washes keeps the pattern readable.
