About this design

Fluid blobs and ribbons in charcoal, teal, rust brown and ochre sit on a warm off-white ground, scattered with small dots, dashes and tiny ornaments. Three rounded square frames, one charcoal, one ochre and one teal, with inset filled squares in dark, rust and black take the place of the finder squares. The blobs and circles carry the modules, and their solid flat fills against the pale background keep the pattern crisp and easy to separate. A few thin orange stripes add small rhythm to the lower half.
