About this design

A crowded abstract graffiti drawing in thick black marker, with red hatched blocks and loose cobalt blue swirls spread over a cream ground. Square red-filled boxes with black maze-like lines hide the finder squares, while chunky black strokes and small red patches carry the dark modules. The cream gaps between the strokes supply the light modules, and the heavy outlines against pale paper keep the pattern clear. Scattered squiggles, tiny confetti marks and a yellow and green cluster at the right edge add a hand-drawn, restless feel.
