About this design

A painted abstract field of rust red blobs, navy black bars, cobalt blue washes and mustard yellow blocks, scattered with round dots. Three nested square frames in red and pale grey, each with a black or red-dotted center, disguise the finder squares. Dark blobs and black bars carry the modules against lighter blue and yellow ground. Strong value contrast and visible brush texture keep the pattern readable, and the textured rust fill gives the whole canvas a hand-painted feel.
