Artistic QR Codes for Museums and Gallery Guides

An exhibition label has limited space, but the story behind an artwork may need more room. These designs use painterly landscapes, sculptural forms and architectural detail to sit beside that longer story. The selection includes loose brushwork, fragmented stone and patterned surfaces, so you can compare different relationships between the code and its surroundings. A label might link to an audio introduction, a transcript or a curator's note. Keep the artist, title and essential visitor information readable on the label itself. Place the scan prompt where visitors can reach it comfortably, then test a printed sample under the lighting used in the exhibition.
